"Fantastic cover shot from The Advocate referring to how Obama has let down queers. He certainly owes the LGBT community much more than he has delivered thus far. But he is telling us to ‘wait’ a little bit longer. Sorry, that just is not acceptable. And with the Human Rights Campaign telling us to cut him some slack till 2017, we realize what ‘waiting a little longer’ means".
This is really interesting and so true. I think Obama and his cabinet are waiting for reelection until they actually make good on some of their promises...if they ever really intend to. It's sad. People are too concerned with politics than the good of their constituents.
ReplyDeleteI completely agree. I also believe that ppl should realise that just because a politician says s/he are going to do something doesnt always make it true. During election time polititians will say any and everything in order to get elected so good luck on holding them to there word. However I do believe Obama will make god on his word change doesnt happen over night
